This event was a heartfelt collaboration between Virtuosi Music & Art Foundation and Shine in Hearts, united by a shared commitment to education, the environment, the arts, and mental wellness. We engaged over 100 elementary school students with 4 interactive concerts, a community raffle, and a reflection booth, where they shared the impact of music on their daily lives.

Presented in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month and Mother’s Day, the program celebrates music as a bridge between imagination and healing. We begin with Nikolai Kapustin’s Concert Etude Op. 40 No. 6, a vibrant fusion of classical and jazz elements. Its jubilant energy and technical brilliance capture the joy of creativity and the uplifting power of music. The following works by Claude Debussy and Franz Liszt explore how nature sparks the composers’ imaginations, inviting listeners to connect with and express their emotions. We close with Antonín Dvořák’s Songs My Mother Taught Me, a reminder of the love, memories and gratitude that shape who we are.

Together, these works honor the transformative power of music and nature, and the vital role they both play in improving mental well-being.
